CyberAgent News - February 2014
Dear Reader

It started with some seemingly unbelievable tweets on Valentine’s Day 2013, and now it’s moved into a full-scale social media frenzy. From live tweets and Instagrams from the Gauteng High Court to reactions from curious onlookers updating their status from their couches, Oscar Pistorius’ murder trial is an event which will appear in your timeline and news feed for days to come.. by memeburn.com

Social media has become a necessity for the successful real estate office/agent whether we like it or not. We have seen over the last few months how people are taking advantage of this growing trend. Real estate agents are marketing their businesses through social media outlets like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook. They are no longer shy to;

  • Promote their brand
  • To connect and network with potential clients
  • To promote active listings
  • To create trust
  • To grow and change with technology

In our January edition we informed our users about the first ever Real Estate Facebook Portal App in South Africa that we have launched. This application not only enable Estate agencies and Agents to showcase their available properties but also creates a platform where potential clients would search for those properties within Facebook while simultaneously enjoying other fun posts.

Still staying ahead of technology is our SAPTG application with Google Maps and virtualization.

You cannot afford not to stay ahead of technology!

In this month’s edition;

  • FLISP stands for Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme and it’s important to know about because it can help you sell more properties, according to SA Homeloans. Read more in Why you need to know about FLISP

  • The Estate Agency Affairs Board in its further endeavours to streamline processes for our stakeholders has introduced further enhancements to the MyEAAB online portal on our website for the submission of the estate agency firms annual audit report, MyEAAB

  • Responsive website design is the new trend, read more in From our Webmaster

Until next month!
