Dear CyberAgent user, I trust that you all had a good month and that the new Credit Act is not influencing your businesses in too many ways. The only "new" item that was brought under my attention is the Final Grant of Quotation that must be issued by the financial institutions. Should you have any information or even a bit of gossip pls. forward it to news@cyberprop.com One of the Estate Agencies using our CyberAgent software, Cape Route Properties, made the following stats available on where properties sales comes from in his business;
The Internet is his best source of sales. This was also reported by another CyberAgent user, one of the top agencies in the Tinus Strydom Property Group. Now if the Internet plays such an important role in your business why do we keep on getting complaints from Internet browsers? Let me share a few with you; I have been looking online to buy property since I am currently living overseas. I am disappointed in how out of date many of the property website are; and at how few agents actually respond to online requests for more info. I think they severely underestimate the power of the Internet as a marketing tool and a very "polite" one; May I have the courtesy of a response to my e-mail dated 6/7th June 2007 as a matter of urgency What is your Online marketing strategy? Do you have any? In this edition of our CyberAgent newsletter we take a closer look at Online Marketing for the Real Estate Agent. And in the next four months we will take a closer look at the following topics;
We are constantly look for avenues to advertise the properties of our CyberAgent users and will continue doing just that. Our newest avenue, www.funnel.co.za, one of South Africa's top search engines. Hopefully by the next newsletter we can add more to the list.
Lastly, visit our CyberProp.com blog and place your articles, news or comments. Remember to mention your website in your posting. This will help all of us with website optimisation. Greetings! |

By Roelof Vermeulen for CyberAgent.co.za
Introduction If you are making a living as an estate agent you can be proud to be one of a few of the elite in a very challenging industry. It is no secret that only the best succeed in this very challenging industry.
Therefore when I first set out thinking on how to write this I had to understand that I was dealing with marketing professionals. The online industry are however very different and many top marketers are struggling to find their footing in this industry. However it is in most cases totally unnecessary as it is an industry that makes sense and is much easier to track statistically than the conventional marketing techniques... |

Hi John I recently heard a disturbing story about an agent in Jo'burg that was using cyberagent. It has been told that his data base was hacked into and all his contacts taken. Are these allegations true? Could you please shed some light on this story. Thank-you Just the fact that we at CyberAgent have never heard from this agent
you refer to is proof enough that this is an empty allegation. Our clients
are all concerned about the confidentiality of their data and none of
our clients would therefore ever keep an incident of this nature to themselves. I trust I have set your mind at ease - should you have any other questions
relating to this - please mail me on janATcyberprop.com |

The Institute is therefore the official mouthpiece of the real estate fraternity and represents the industry in negotiations with government, local authorities and lending institutions. While the Institute is not a statutory body and therefore does not
have legislative powers, it encourages the highest level of professionalism

Course Dates Courses are fully-facilitated and interactive and can be run at corporate venues, or at outside venues in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Polokwane.
